8 Ways to Alleviate Anxiety Fast
1. Sit and Breathe
Sit in a chair, place your hands on your heart and navel and breathe slowly for five-minutes. Intend that your heart beat slow and steady.
2. Deep Breaths
Take a deep breath and retain the breath for 3-5 seconds. Do this for 3-30 breaths.
3. Exercise
Exercise for 30-60 minutes.
4. Hot Shower
Take a hot shower and wash your hair.
5. Hot Bath
Luxuriate in a hot Epsom salt bath for 15-30 minutes. (2-3 cups per tub)
6. Laugh
Laugh. Watch a comedy, adorable kid or funny pet videos. It’s refreshing.
7. Rescue Remedy

8. Volunteer
